&lt;p&gt;so here in NY we have just had some light snow. it is very powdery and getting up a snowy, cold, wet hillock is a massive challenge for my 4X4 crawler. it doesn't have any diffs in it and it has a super low gear ratio (1:6) and the regular 94.8X44R wheels. im thinking about chains or studs in the tires. but i want to know what you think is the best way of conquering the snow. &lt;p&gt;In a trial truck, a differential offers a better turning circle, but they send all of the torque to the wheel with the least traction. One way to prevent this, while still having a decent turning circle, is a limited slip differential, or LSD. &lt;p&gt;so i have some cars with diffs in them and my crawler doesn't. now the diff is often hated in lego for climbing/crawling because it sends all the power to the wheel that has the least grip but the cars with diffs in them have really nice turning circles, so after some scouring on youtube i found a limited slip diff. it was very simple so i decided to make one and it worked, but i can't figure out how to apply it to the front wheels with a studless design. it combines a good turning circle (...)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;After the success of my Extreme Offroader V3 I started on my next Offroader. I decided my next offroader would have full suspension. At the time I did not own enough shock absorbers for a full suspension vehicle so, I purchased ten new medium hardness shock absorbers. I started with a truck that had for shocks per axle, eight shocks in all, four in the front, four in the back. &lt;p&gt;Long live the overkill ! this or something similar i can say when i talk about my new G-class pickup. weight: 2400g length: 530mm width: 214mm height: 272mm Tires: well, not from lego. i have used ansmann racing 211000224 for the propulsion iam using four of the new PF-L motors from the 9398 with a gear ratio of 1:8,337 . They are powered by two lego lipos and two of the new V2 receivers. because of the left and right motors are has their own controll circuit, skid steering is theoretical (...)&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I have decided to make the 8081 Extreme Cruiser a little more extreme. I have added a V8, added front and rear live axles, and four person seating. In addition, I have added four wheel drive, while keeping the steering and suspension travel of the original model.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
