This is my newest and most sophisticated offroader to date. It features independent left/right side wheel drive, very flexible 4 link suspension on both axels, lighter body and bigger wheels with more traction and profile. All these factors allow it to climb up a smooth surface at 55 degree angle or over boxes the size of the truck’s wheels.

The new suspension allows very high axle flex:

The underside shows the 2 indpendent driveshafts leading to both axles. This has 2 advantages. It allows avenger to steer sharper, because the left and right side drives arent fixed. Also both shafts rotate in opposite directions, which cancels out torque on the suspension.

The M motor is nicely visible here. No room for clutch gears, but this way the motor is placed lower and further in front.

And here is the video of the offorader in action:

  • OK...So i would like to build this model...but one thing...Can you substitute the 94MM lego tire for this? I have been looking online for the set, and the cheapest I have found was around $200.00 USD.
