As my first trial truck, it was quite difficult to make the vehicle both good looking and powerful. It features drive, steering, fake engine (under hood) and shock absorbed pendular axles. The rear axle’s spring mount is based on Nico71’s "Unimog V2." The rest of the chassis was built over several weeks and put through numerous tests.
As for the off road abilities, they were good on dry terrains. Due to the the high articulation of the axles, it was always able to stay in contact with the (...)

Welcome on Brick Truck Trial.com !
What is it ?
One electric motor, a bunch of gears, a fake motor, a steering wheel, a batterybox and a controler, a minimum of 4 wheels and a solid chassis, all this made out of LEGO(R) parts ? This strange assembly is actually a Trial Truck and if well built, capable to drive over muddy slopes in the forest ...

The beast
1 November 2011, by ZbljI wanted to upgrade the X truck with smaller, yet more capable power functions. To do this the axles and the body was rebuilt to make the new offroader shorter, lighter and more maneuverable. Now each axle has its own steering motor, which works independently. This allows the truck to drive in almost every direction, EVEN SIDEWAYS. Also the planetary gear train inside the turntables was found to be more efficient than a single tooth gear powering the turntable from inside. Suspesnion was (...)

27 October 2011, by lewisthis is my second trial truck, i am quite pleased about the result.
it uses power puller wheels and has a very sturdy chassis.
it took me about a week to make the basic chassis and another to fully finish it.
because of its weight it moves very slowly. there is no safety clutch in the steering because it wouldn’t be strong enough.

Jeep
25 October 2011, by 1nxtmonsterMy sixth and best trial truck. Modeled after iconic Jeep Wrangler, a bit heavier than expected due to bodywork. Weighs in at 1250 grams, so performance is still good. The chassis is brand-new, along with axles, which are based off of zblj’s raptor.
The hood can open, but there is nothing under it. Feel free to rebuild using brickshelf photo sequence (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=486480) or LDD (...) -
Ford
14 October 2011, by marinMy second TrTr vehicle.
Features AWD, FW steering, front independent suspension, rear live axle, motorised fan.
Driven by two PF M motors geared down 15:1, steered by one M motor geared down 9:1.
Scaled 1:13.
The rear axle turned out to be a catastrophe so it never entered any race and I didn’t even film it indoors. -
Audi
14 October 2011, by marinThis is my first ever TrTr vehicle.

Driven by one PF XL motor geared down 5:1 and steered by one PF M motor geared down 9:1.
Many thanks to Sariel and Kockice members.
With it I won the first Croatian TrTr. -

7 October 2011, by phan7omk7This is my first trial truck. It is based on nielsvdv’s chassis but with modifications to the springs and some gear changes. The 8 wheels are powered by 2 XL motors and is steered with a m motor. It is still a work in progress and plan on making it a A.V.L.B. (Armoured Vehicle Launched Bridge). Any advice would be great.
It uses two remotes. The left hand side is for drive and can be used in situations for skid steer. The right hand side has the function for turning (...) -

crawler v.2
10 September 2011, by zverThe second model in which I has tried to get rid of lacks of the first crawler. The basic changes have concerned the forward axle and configuration of motors.
Due to the implementation of additional levers in the steering mechanism it was possible to reduce quantity of gears from 5 to 1! The transmission ratio has thus changed slightly: from 1:27,789 to 1:24 that has allowed to leave standard cardan shafts in a gear. The axle became more compact, more simple, with the big corner of (...) -
Toyota
5 September 2011My fifth trial truck. Uses an interesting combo of my gear transfer box and 5x7 lift arm frames for axles.
This allowed for stronger axles with better, more efficient bevel gears.
The chassis was a compromise of strength and weight. The battery box also fits nicely in the front of the chassis. A "m" was used for steering and a "xl" for drive. Final gear ratio is 1:5
In initial testing, my last u-joint shattered, so I had to use the old-style ones. Bodywork was the next issue, but (...)
